WE RAISE PUREBRED PEDIGREED NEW ZEALAND REDS. WE HANDLE THEM EVERY DAY AND GIVE THEM LOTS OF ATTENTION. WE LOVE OUR NEW ZEALAND REDS. THEY ARE GIVEN THE BEST LIFE POSSIBLE IN A GOOD CLEAN ENVIROMENT. THEY STAY COOL IN THE SUMMER AND DRY IN THE WINTER. I CLEAN THEIR CAGES ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK. WE ARE THANKFULL FOR OUR NEW ZEALANDS.

RABBIT MEAT IS ACTUALLY VERY HEALTHY FOR YOU. IT HAS LESS FAT THAN CHICKEN, BEEF, TURKEY, OR PORK. IT IS HIGH IN PROTIEN AND LOW IN CALORIES. A 3 OZ SERVING OF RABBIT MEAT HAS 28 GRAMS OF PROTEIN. IT IS A GOOD SOURCE OF IRON, CHOLESTRAL FREE AND LOW IN SODIUM. IT IS ALL WHITE TENDER MEAT. IT IS A GOOD CHOICE FOR THOSE WITH STOMACH PROBLEMS SINCE IT IS EASY TO DIGEST. DURING WORLD WAR 2 RABBITS WERE AN IMPORTANT MEAT SUPPLY. I AM SURPRISED RABBIT MEAT HASN'T GAINED MORE POPULARITY TODAY SINCE EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE ON A HEALTH KICK. IT DOESN'T SEEM THAT COMMON, BUT YOU CAN FIND RABBIT MEAT IN FANCIER RESTAURANTS. SOME PEOPLE ARE GOING BACK TO HOMESTEADING AND ARE BEGINGING TO RAISE MEAT RABBITS. THEY ARE THE ALL PURPOSE RABBIT.
